Updates a custom issue. Only the fields you include are changed. If you include script arrays, they replace the existing scripts entirely.

Optional numeric ID of a category to group this issue under. Categories are configured in the ControlUp UI. If omitted, the issue is uncategorized.

score

0 to 10

Risk score from 0–10 that determines the displayed severity: 0–2.99 = HIGH, 3–4.99 = MEDIUM, 5–10 = LOW. Severity is derived from this score and is not accepted as a separate input, matching the ControlUp UI.

active

boolean

Whether the issue is active and evaluated during scans. Defaults to true if omitted.

detection_scripts

array of objects

length ≥ 1

One or more detection scripts that determine whether the issue is present on a device. At least one script is required.

Optional remediation scripts that fix the issue when triggered. If omitted, the issue is detection-only.
